Meet the Literature Curious Cat Behind the Tales
Welcome to my literature blog where curiosity leads the way. This website was born from a simple idea, why does literature always feel harder than it needs to be? Somewhere between textbooks, notes, and exam answers, reading lost its meaning. This is an attempt to bring it back.
Hi, I’m Afreen.
I have a Master’s degree in English Literature, which, honestly, sounds more structured than it felt. Because studying literature isn’t just about reading texts. It’s about sitting with them, questioning them, sometimes disagreeing with them… and often realizing you didn’t understand them the first time at all.
Over the last 3 years, I’ve worked as a content writer across different spaces: marketing, social media, travel blogs, and even academic writing. I’ve written to sell, to inform, to optimize, to fit into algorithms and formats.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something.
Writing for everything… isn’t the same as writing for meaning.

Genres & Concepts

Why a Cat?
Cats are curious creatures.
They wander quietly, observe everything, and discover places others often overlook. This blog follows that same philosophy , exploring literature slowly, thoughtfully, and with curiosity.
That’s what this page does with literature. It doesn’t take things at face value. It looks closer.
